Confidentiality: Everything discussed during your health intake and in the practice space will be kept confidential except when subpoenaed by a court of law. Client details are not revealed unless the client has given written permission to do so. I will not confirm nor disclose the fact that a specific person is my client, unless I have permission of the client to do so.

 

Sexual Appropriateness: Sexual behavior by the client toward the therapist or by the therapist toward the client is unethical, inappropriate and unacceptable. Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If either party's safety feels compromised, the session is stopped immediately.

 

Mask Policies:

• Masks are optional for clients who have been vaccinated. I have been fully vaccinated since March 2021 and continually receive a booster shot every fall, along with a flu shot. I fully respect those who wish to wear a mask and I will wear one if you have one on. I have new disposable masks upon request.

• For vaccinated clients, hugs are allowed! Feel free to give me one :-)

• All new clients are required to fill out and sign a health intake form AND a new "informed consent form" which will be at the studio or available to download on the header of the website to fill out before the session.

• Clients must remove shoes as soon as they arrive.

• I reserve 30 minutes in between clients to properly clean and sanitize the treatment room. 

 

Sickness:

Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived.

 

Cancellation:
I have modified the cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all clients. I hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, I understand and request for you to please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations at this time.

 

Tardiness:
Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time to your appointment.
